With this said. There is a great makeup and a great starter for young teen girls or moms like me trying to crack down on my makeup purchases.
The brand name is Essence. I came across this brand in Google Land when I was looking for eyeshadows that are similar to MAC, because I am a hard core MAC junkie trying to look outside of the box. I currently have tried two pods from NYX another great eye shadow with great pigmentation for the dollar. They cost $7.99 a pod. These can be bought at Target, the selection is not big, kind of disappointing and Rexall, where there is a large selection to choose from. Unfortunately, there are no testers, and the packaging is not sealed so you get the odd dabber... I must say I am at fault for that sometimes... I only dab into what I am more than likely going to buy and I will buy what I dab into 99% of the time.
Long and behold there is this little stand that stands alone in your local Shoppers... Shoppers is my go to place when Momma needs some Momma time. I seriously know the entire inventory of the Cosmetic Counter.
Yesterday I had help shopping, my toddler was helping me, usually when she comes, I spend more. I had myself an Essences <HAUL>. I got some awesome eyeshadows and I will be on the watch for the others that were out of stock. I got the eye primer, Fix Compact Powder, a Lip gloss and a blue nail polish and a purple, my toddlers picks ;)
Just the name of this shadow had me
Mermaid Kiss
Just look at the fabulous colours and for $3.49 you can really get experimental with colour, without fear of being STUCK with that colour you bought.
